Council for Retail and Sales (CRS) Regional Case Competition
\nPowered by Sherwin-Williams<\/b><\/p>\n

Attention Business Instructors\/Professors<\/b><\/p>\n

The Council for Retail and Sales at Penn State Lehigh Valley is sponsoring a regional student case competition<\/a>.  <\/span>This team-based competition is tasked to solve a significant business opportunity for a company.  <\/span>This year the sponsor for the competition is Sherwin-Williams.  <\/span><\/b><\/p>\n

The top team will get $1,000 to be divided by team members and a \u2018traveling\u2019 trophy that will be housed at the winner\u2019s school.  <\/span>The second-place team will be awarded $500 to be divided by the team.  <\/span><\/p>\n

The competition culminates in team presentations in front of a judge\u2019s panel at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus.  <\/span>Each school or branch may submit up to 2 teams, composed of 4 people\/team.  <\/span>Last year some of the colleges ran a local competition and then sent their top team(s) to the final competition.   <\/span>This is a great class or club (e.g. Enactus, Business Clubs) project!  <\/span>The competition will be judged on the written executive summary and the presentation.  <\/span><\/p>\n

The competition will be held Nov. 6, 2018 at the Penn State Lehigh Valley campus in Center Valley, PA.  <\/span>Please consider bringing a team to compete.  <\/span><\/p>\n

Tentative Timeline:<\/b><\/p>\n

By the end of July 2018 \u2013 Case Information and Rules Sent to Schools<\/p>\n

September 21, 2018 \u2013 Intent to participate due<\/p>\n

October 24, 2018 \u2013 Executive summary due<\/p>\n

November 6, 2018 \u2013 Team presentations at PSULV <\/span><\/p>\n
