(August 28, 2019) \u2013 The retail industry is experiencing major changes as shoppers no longer distinguish between online and offline shopping.\u00a0 The Council for Retail and Sales (CRS) will shed light on these changes in the second of several MEET THE EXPERTS events.\u00a0 <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The topic for\nthis MEET THE EXPERTS event is \u201cThe Changing Landscape of the Retail Industry.\u201d&nbsp; The event will be held at Walmart&#8217;s\nE-Commerce Fulfillment Center, 3215 Commerce Center Blvd, Bethlehem. Following the program, Walmart will\noffer tours of the facility. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The panel of\nexperts will discuss the future of shopping, consumer trends and the need for\nconstant innovation. Light refreshments will be provided courtesy of Walmart.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The September\nevent features the following speakers and program:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Wednesday,\nSeptember 25<br>\n8:00 a.m. Registration and networking <br>\n8:30 a.m. Program begins<br>\n10:30 a.m. \u2013 Tours of the Walmart e-commerce fulfillment center begin<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Event Sponsors\ninclude Walmart and Sherwin-Williams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The panel of experts include:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li><strong>Ann-Louise Almeida: regional vice president, Walmart<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Ellen Deyoc: regional eCommerce director, Walmart<\/strong> <\/li><li><strong>Toby Gray: vice president regional fulfillment operations, Walmart<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Denise Ogden, professor of marketing, Penn State Lehigh Valley; vice-chair,CRS<\/strong><\/li><li><strong>Jeremy Schmoyer: financial manager \u2013 division collections, Sherwin-Williams<\/strong><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Moderated by Doug Nay, associate\nprofessor of business, East Stroudsburg University<br>\n<br>\n<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To register, visit the <a href=\"https:\/\/thecrs.org\/?page_id=34\">CRS website<\/a>.
