Council for Retail and Sales donates to ASD Foundation
CENTER VALLEY, Pa. (January 19, 2022) – The Council for Retail and Sales (CRS), housed at DeSales University, matched donations made by board members to support Allentown School District Foundation. CRS board member, Nick Miller, who also serves as vice president of the Allentown School Board, set a goal to raise $24,000 to refurbish the weight rooms at Allen and Dieruff high schools. To raise funds, Miller set his sights on climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro in east Africa, the world’s tallest free-standing mountain. Miller successfully completed the climb over the Christmas holiday. On Feb 3rd, the CRS will present a $1,000 check to Miller in support of his effort. “We at the Council are blessed with incredible board members and are happy to support Nick’s effort,” said Doc Ogden, Chair, Board of Directors for CRS.
